Amelia's Story

Amelia Lee "Millie" Sites, age 73 of Bayard, formerly of Seneca Rocks, passed away on Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, at her residence.
She was born in Cumberland, Md. on Feb. 17, 1944, the daughter of the late, Ernest Yaider and Lula (Peterson) Yaider. On March 9, 1966 she married her husband of 51 years, Dale Wayne Sites, who survives in Bayard. Mrs. Sites was a 1962 graduate of of Allegheny High School and a member of the Seneca Rocks Presbyterian Church in Seneca Rocks. Amelia was a homemaker and she loved wildlife, especially birds. In addition to her husband, Amelia is survived by a sister, Barbara Taylor of Bel Air, Md. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by 1 brother, Ronald Yaider of Baltimore, Md. Mrs.
Site's family will receive friends on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, from 10 to 12 p.m. at the Seneca Rocks Presbyterian Church in Seneca Rocks.
Funeral services will follow at 12 p.m. with the Reverend Paul O'Gorek officiating.
Interment will be at the North Fork Memorial Cemetery in Riverton.
