Aneda Beryl Deffinbaugh, 96, of Cumberland, passed away Saturday, March 3, 2018, at Allegany Health, Nursing, and Rehabilitation Center.
Born March 2, 1922, in Paw Paw, W.Va., Morgan County, Mrs. Deffinbaugh was the daughter of the late Gusty Clyde Noland and Gladys Ruth (Twigg) Noland. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Douglas D. Deffinbaugh; a daughter, Linda Beryl Yost; and a sister, Shirley Bishop.
Formerly employed at Schwabs, Aneda attended the Cornerstone Baptist Church. She is survived by her son, Larry D. Deffinbaugh and wife, Carolan, Flintstone. She also leaves behind her sister, Violet Croley, Jacksonville, Fla.; and her grandson, Len E. Deffinbaugh and wife, Cassie, Charlotte, N.C. Aneda is also survived by other special family members, Sharon Rohrer and husband, Phil, Rachael Morrison and husband, Jeremy, and their children, Sophia and Georgia, Sarah Monteau and husband, Daniel, and their children, Lincoln and Stella, Wendy, Emily, and Kaitlyn Sisler, Josh Bittner, and Lexie Blough; and a special friend, Nancy Howard.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, MD, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, March 8, 2018, at 11 a.m., with Pastor David Hattenfield officiating.
Interment will be at the Maryland Veterans Cemetery at Rocky Gap.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made to the charity of their choice.
