Mrs. Bonnie Keech Lennox, age 75, of Preston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, May 23, 2017, at the Talbot Hospice, surrounded by her family.
Born, in Cumberland, on May 18, 1942, she was the daughter of the late Tom and Millie Price Keech.
On March 18, 1960, Bonnie married the love of her life, Reg Lennox. Bonnie and Reg were married for 57 years and demonstrated a kind, selfless love that inspired everyone that they met. They raised two children, Kim and Reggie, in the town of LaVale in Western Maryland. In 1988, Bonnie and Reg relocated to Maryland's Eastern Shore. She attended the Lady of Good Counsel Church. Bonnie enjoyed working at the Easton Dairy Queen and met so many people in her time there. After retirement, Bonnie volunteered with the Talbot Hospice. She loved to prepare a home-cooked meal each night and took great pride in her home.
Bonnie could be found on the ballfields of Talbot County cheering on Easton High School's softball, field hockey, and girls' soccer teams; she also loved to cheer on the St. Michaels High School's baseball team. She rarely missed a game. Bonnie was known for her beautiful smile and kind heart.
Bonnie is survived by her husband of 57 years, Reg Lennox; her dog, Jazzy; her daughter and son-in-law, Kim and Brian Femi; her brother, Bob Keech; her six grandchildren, Ali and her husband, John Strickland, Taylor, Megan, Sean, Ashley, and Corey; and her four great-grandchildren, Bradley, Channing, Quinn, and Reese. Bonnie is now reunited with her loved ones who proceeded her in death; her son, Reggie Lennox; her parents, Tom and Millie Keech; and her brothers, Terry and Tom Keech Jr.
Bonnie donated her body to science in hopes that could benefit others in the future.
A memorial Mass is scheduled for Friday June 23, 2017, at noon at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church in Secretary, with a reception to follow at the Parish Hall. Father Grecco will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bonnie's life.
