Carletta Sue (Baker) Moore, 56, of Delaware, passed away Sunday evening, Feb. 4, 2018, at Riverside Methodist Hospital in Columbus after a 10 year tenacious battle with cancer.
She was born on Sept. 7, 1961, in Cumberland.
Carletta was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Delaware and she especially loved her family and furry companions. Even through her struggle with cancer, she was always there for her family doing whatever was needed, often putting them first.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband of almost 28 years, Timothy; son, Schane (Alecia) Moore of Delaware; grandson, Gabriel who was her pride and joy; mother, Shirley (Ron) Gross of Cumberland; father, Sonny (Martha) Baker of Frostburg; brother, Bob (Mary) Baker of Cumberland; sisters, Lori (Dave) Porter of Cumberland, and Dee (Candy) Vasquez of Denver, Colo.; several nieces and nephews.
A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Friday, Feb. 9, 2018, at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, 82 E. William St., Delaware. Following the Mass, the St. Mary Bereavement Committee will host a luncheon in the Snyder-Rodman Funeral Center Community Room, 101 Valleyside Drive (formerly 1510 W. William Street), Delaware.
Contributions in Carletta's memory may be made to the donors choice of charity.
