Christopher V. Brockey, 87, of Walnut Drive, Clearville, passed away on Thursday, Jan. 4, 2018, at Cumberland Healthcare Center, Cumberland.
Born on April 13, 1930, in Chaneysville, Pa., he was the son of the late Christopher F. and Lula (Ratcliff) Brockey.
On Feb. 18, 1961, in Flintstone, he was united in marriage to Dolores M. (Smith) Brockey. He is survived by his wife of 56 years along with two children, Gary E. Brockey, Clearville, and Tammy, married to Kenny Monkman, Strasburg, Va.; nephews, Tim Reed, Greencastle, Pa., and Dan Reed, Bethlehem, Pa.
He was preceded in death by two sisters, Phyllis Reed and Lois Redinger, and nephew, Monte Redinger Sr.
Mr. Brockey was a graduate of Everett High School, Class of 1948. He, alongside his wife, owned and operated C&G Dairy Farm for many years until his retirement.
Christopher was a member of Chaneysville Community Church.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and watching football.
Friends will be received on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, for a time of visitation at Akers Funeral Home Inc., 299 Raystown Road, Everett, Pa., from 1 to 3 p.m.
Burial will be held privately at Chaneysville Cemetery.
