CUMBERLAND Cynthia Ann Paige, 69, of Cumberland, passed away Monday, Dec. 4, 2017, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born April 2, 1948, in Cumberland, Mrs. Paige was the daughter of the late Harry Beckwith and Marjorie Ann (Frazier) Beckwith. She was also preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, George E. Paige Sr., Nov. 20, 2009; and a sister, Bonita Spencer.
A homemaker, Cynthia was a former employee of the American Red Cross for a number of years. She was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church. Cynthia was well loved by all who knew her. She not only raised her own children, but she also raised and cared for many others. Cynthia will be greatly missed by her family and extended family.
Cynthia is survived by her sons, George Paige Jr., and wife, Michelle, Terrance Paige, Brooklyn Paige and fiancée, Sharon Whetzel, Bruceton Paige, Brandon Paige, and Daniel Paige; and her daughters, Marjorie Mumford and husband, Michael, Crystal Blake and husband, John, Rebecca Paige and friend, Robert Powell, Celeste Paige, Takea Holdren and husband, Joseph, and Tamika Paige. She also leaves behind a brother, Eugene Frazier; as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2017, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Dave Hattenfield officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens at a later date.
