Dolores Ileane Hardman, 89, of Cumberland, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2018, at her home.
Born Dec. 4, 1928, in Cumberland, Mrs. Hardman was the daughter of the late John Edward Bowles and Cora Canelia (Gant) Bowles. She was preceded in death by her husband, Blair Junior Hardman, May 27, 2002; two sisters, Phyllis Bowles and Eloise Wiley; son, Timothy Blair Hardman; granddaughter, Amy Helmstetter; and great-grandson, Harrison Squires.
A homemaker, Dolores was a member of Mount Herman United Methodist Church and United Methodist Women's Association.
She is survived by her children, Kathy I. Collins and husband, Mark, Robin L. Helmstetter and husband, Patrick, Terri S. Hardman, and Scott Lee Hardman and friend, Mary Absher, all of Cumberland. Dolores also leaves behind her sister, Helen L. Auvil and husband, James, Cumberland, her sister-in-law, Kristen Whitbread-Hardman of Vermont; six grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and her precious dog, Areona.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com), on Wednesday, Feb. 7, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Fred Iser officiating.
Interment will be in Sunset Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be Jason Collins, Zachary Seifarth, Ryley Helmstetter-Thomas, Steve Hardman, Randy Hardman, and Oak Whitbread-Hardman.
