RIDGELEY, W.Va. - Donnie Sherman Plumlee Jr., 46, of Ridgeley, passed away Sunday, Aug. 13, 2017.
Born Dec. 31, 1970, in Cumberland, Donnie was the son of the late Donnie Sherman Plumlee Sr., and Gracie LaVonn (Bruehahn) Plumlee.
A graduate of Frankfort High School, class of 1989, Donnie was an employee of Hughes Construction Company, Fort Lee, Va. He previously owned and operated Plumlee's Taxidermy, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Donnie was an avid trapper, hunter, and fisherman.
Donnie is survived by his son, Tyler Cole Plumlee, Huntington Beach, Calif.; and his sisters, Debra Buchanan and husband, William, Cumberland, Denise Landry, Paoli, Pa., Dixie Gimler and husband, Daniel, Welcome, and Shanon DeWilde and husband, James, Ridgeley. He is also survived by his uncle and aunts, Darwin and Sandy Plumlee, Hedgesville, W.Va. and Lois Bruehahn, Monona, Iowa; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Friday, Aug. 18, 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m. with a service to follow at 6 p.m. with his cousin, Dean Plumlee, officiating.
