Doris Ann "Skip" Pheasant, 81, of Martinsburg, Pa., and Rawlings, died Thursday, Feb. 15, 2018, at Devlin Manor Nursing Home, Cumberland, where she had recently been a resident.
She was born April 18, 1936, in Williamsburg, Pa., daughter of the late Harvey Edison and Alice May (Lower) Frye. On March 3, 1956, she married Donald Roy Pheasant in Winchester, Va.
Surviving are her beloved husband, Donald, of 62 years; two sons, Donald "Buck" of Spotsylvania, Va., and David Pheasant (Tammy) of Rawlings; two daughters, Rosalie Isenberg (Tim) of Madison, W.Va., and Penny Pattison (Ned) of Warsaw, Va.; 12 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Shelby Gerrity, Shirley Eubanks, and Susan Camaroto; and three brothers, Jim Frye, Bob Frye and Tom Peck.
Skip was a 1954 graduate of Williamsburg High School and was a loving and devoted housewife, mother, sister and friend. She loved playing the piano, baking and was an excellent seamstress.
Friends will be received from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, at John K. Bolger Funeral Home Inc., Martinsburg.
Services will be conducted on Monday, Feb. 19, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Church of the Brethren, Martinsburg, with Pastors Eric Fether, Tiffany Marvich, and Bruce McBride officiating. Friends will be received one hour prior to services.
Private interment will be in Shellytown-Fairview Cemetery, rural Williamsburg.
