EDDIE BEARL PARKER

Events

Eddie Bearl Parker died April 10, 2019, at home surrounded by unconditional love from family.
Born, April 14,1944, in Cumberland, Eddie loved the outdoors, camping and fishing on the river, hunting and four wheeling. He was a kind person. Helping others was part of who he was, whether it was bringing a stranded trucker and his son home during a big snow storm or going to a store and coming home without his shoes because another man's shoes had holes on the tops and bottom and it was icy and cold. These were only a small part of the selfless acts he performed over the years. He was a Life Member of VVA chapter 172, and the Cumberland Outdoor Club.
Eddie is survived by his loving wife of 38 years, JoAnn Sharon Parker. Together they laughed, loved, and gave of themselves to family and strangers with no expectation.
Survived by his children, Darrell and wife, Michelle Parker, Sabrina and husband, Ed Martin, Scott and wife, Jodi Maiers, Alissa and husband, Bill Lloyd; and son-in-law, John Buckbee; grandchildren, Landon Buckbee, Ashlyn Shepard and husband, Cory, Braydon Parker, Gavin Myers, Trenton Lloyd, Breanna Lloyd, Garrett Maiers, Taylor Maiers, Zeven Wrightsman, Jordan Selders, Kailee Selders, Madison Halllenbeck and Zachary Hallenbeck; one great-granddaughter, Cora Shepard, Cumberland; bothers, Danny Parker and wife, Judy, N.C, Charlie Parker and wife, Sandy, Cumberland; sisters, Sandra Sentz and husband, Doug, Slainsville, W.Va., Ellen and late husband, Wayne (Tootie) Brown, Paw Paw; sister-in-law, Dolly Parker, Biloxi, Miss.

My Deepest Sympathy To JoAnn & All Family & Friends. Eddie was The Life Of Any Party! He Loved Dressing Up For Halloween & Made Himself A Character Each Time!! Eddie Was A Second Fatherly Figure To Me & Many Others. He was one of My Dad’s Best Buddies & Partner in “Crime”/Mischief!! They Were Brothers in Life just as Strong As Blood Related Family! Nearly Every Memory I Have Growing Up Eddie, JoAnn & Family Are Part Of It! Eddie You Will Be Missed By Many!! I Know My Dad & Eddie Will Be Up To Their Shenanigans & Mischief On The Other-side!! I Will Miss You Dearly Eddie Parker & Give My Dad A Hug From Me When You See Each Other!
