Effie Claudine "Tina" Youngblood, 82, of Cumberland, passed away Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born Nov. 4, 1934, in Parsons, W.Va., Mrs. Youngblood was the daughter of the late John and Alice Weaver. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Eugene C. Youngblood; and brothers, Ellis, Paul, Dennis, Ken, and Larry Weaver.
She is survived by her three daughters, Debra Nixon and husband, Terry, Bedford, Pa., Cathy Brelsford and fiancé, Mike, Cumberland, and Brenda Youngblood and fiancé, Tom, Bowling Green; and two granddaughters, Chery Rae and Terri Jean Nixon, both of Bedford. She also leaves behind two brothers, Jeff Weaver, Cumberland, and Ed Weaver, California; two sisters, Sharon Blacker and Mary "Sis" Wilkins, both of Cumberland; her special dog, Bubba; caregiver, John; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In accordance with Mrs. Youngblood's wishes, she will be cremated and there will be no formal funeral services.
Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., is assisting the family with arrangements.
In lieu of flowers, those wishing to honor Mrs. Youngblood's memory may send donations to Scarpelli Funeral Home, P.A., 108 Virginia Ave., Cumberland, MD 21502, to help defray funeral expenses.
The family would like to thank the Golden Living Center and the WMHS 7th floor staff for all the care given to Mrs. Youngblood.
