F. Wesley's Story
CLEARVILLE, PA. Franklin Wesley Styles, 75, of Clearville, passed away Tuesday, June 27, 2017, at Devlin Manor Health Care Center.
Born Jan. 23, 1942, in Pisgah, Mr. Styles was the son of the late Thomas Lee Styles and Agnes Aritta (Davis) Styles. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Thomas Jr., Charles, Otis, and Edward Styles; and a sister, Elizabeth Styles.
A graduate of Bell Vocational School, Wesley was a former employee of the Greyhound Bus Company, the Circle Equipment Company, and Walsh and Kohler Glass Company. He was co-owner of Metro Metal Services, Inc., for a number of years. Wesley was a member of the Mountain Top Holiness Church. He enjoyed riding his motorcycles, was an avid hunter, and loved watching "Street Outlaws."
Wesley is survived by his wife of 55 years, JoAnne Styles; and his daughter, Deborah Hill and husband, James Sr. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Maria Hill, Lesley Hill, Cassandra Gordon and husband, Aaron, and James Hill Jr.; and his great-grandchildren, Cattalaya, Robyn, Alexis, and Elvis Aaron Gordon, and another on the way. Wesley is also survived by his sister, Deborah Bender and husband, Michael; his brother, Gene Styles and wife, Iva; his canine companion, Nitro; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to his nephews, Tommy Styles and wife, Donna, and Timmy Styles, for all their help during his illness.
