Gail Louise Allen-Will of Palatine, Illinois went to be with the Lord on July 1, 2016. Born Dec. 31st, 1953, she passed peacefully in her sleep as she always wanted and hoped for after having battled a long term illness for over 10 years. Being that the last two years had been terminal she knew what was to be expected as she herself spent 20 plus years working as a skilled nursing assistant.
Gail was raised in the Panama Canal Zone, attented Balboa High School, part of the class of 1971, was an avid swimmer in numerous competitions and swim meets, was an avid skater who loved to race and dance on skates and was a lover of country music and dancing.
Gail also had an angelic voice when she sang and could sing her way through anything. She was a member of the Gamboa Union Church Youth Choir from 1960-1963 and sang as a soprano for her choir.
Gail is survived by her husband, Carl Will of Palatine, Illinois; and is the beloved mother of 3 children, Kelly and husband Randy Wagoner of Fort Ashby, W.Va., Angela and husband Frank Pentz of Hanover Park, Ill., and Paul Will and wife Nicole of Palatine, Ill. She is the cherished grandmother of Brad, Briana, Nick, Angelica, Mark and Ayla; She is also survived by her mother, Joyce Allen of Fort Ashby, W.Va.; and her sister, Christi and husband Robert Fletcher of Comfort, Texas.
Gails services were private and held at Smith-Corcoran Funeral Home in Palatine, Illinois with the immediate family only. She was cremated as requested and sometime in the future when the family is at peace, she will be laid to rest next to her father in Sunset Memorial Cemetary.
