I’m sorry but we just heard of Herbs passing. There isn’t a finer man in Savage River. Herb on his own would cut my lawn at the cabin and did so for many years and never asked for a thing - that was the kind of wonderful, kind and generous man he was. We always enjoyed chatting with Herb & Betty around the campfire. I’ll never forget the private tour of the Silk Mill and when Herb presented me with a copy of a Silk Mill picture from the 1950’s with my grandmother pictured and I cried like a baby because it meant so much to me! Rest In Peace Herb and God Bless his family.
