NEW CREEK, W.Va. - James "Jim" Feaster Sr., 75, of New Creek, passed away at home on Sunday, Feb. 18, 2018, after a long struggle with liver disease.
Jim was born April 24, 1942, in Keyser, and grew up in Beryl. He was the son of the late Garland and Dorothy Feaster.
He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints for the past 40 years. He retired from the Boiler Makers as a certified Welding Inspector and was a member of the Davis Lodge 51, AF & AM and Osiris Shrine.
Surviving are his wife of 59 years, Marlene Feaster; his three children, Garlene Bosley, Pam Dulyea and James Feaster Jr.; his six grandchildren, Heather Ketterman, Patience Burke, Virginia Hott, Shannon Hott, James Feaster III and Kevin William Yelton. Surviving also are his 13 great-grandchildren and two siblings, Dennis Feaster and Carolyn Sue Asjodi.
The family will receive friends at the Markwood Funeral Home on Thursday, Feb. 22, 2018, from 7 to 9 p.m. and Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted by Archie "Bill" Self at the funeral home on Saturday, Feb. 24, 2018, at 11 a.m.
Interment will follow at Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
Masonic Graveside Service will be provided by the Davis Lodge 51, AF & AM.
