Jean Catherine (Landis) Mulligan, 87, of Springfield, W.Va., died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018 at home.
Born June 1, 1930 in Springfield, W.Va., she was the daughter of the late Emmett Samuel Landis and Effie Pearl (Crock) Landis.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Nancy Llewellyn.
She belonged to Community Bible Assembly of God.
Jean was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and sister.
She is survived by her husband, Vernon "Gabby" Mulligan; three daughters, Lydia Dennison, Springfield, Dawn Chaney, Springfield, and Pam Spencer and husband Dave, Fort Ashby; one brother, the Reverend Norman Landis, Senaca Rocks; six grandchildren, Dana Pownall, Paula Michael, Corey Dennison, Deanna Poling, Nathan Dennison, and Jonathan Dennison; four great-grandchildren, Dmitri Lewis, Tristan Dennison, Ryman Dennison, and Acely Dennison; and several special friends, including Roxy Powers, Martinsburg, Betty Kenney, Points, Donna Poland and Jum Landis, both of Springfield.
Friends will be received at Springfield Assembly of God on Tuesday, Feb. 27, 2018, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m..
The funeral service will follow at 1 p.m. in the church, with Pastors Tom Gulbronson, James Kinnamon, Steve Landis, P.J. Landis, and Dan Dennison officiating.
Interment will be in Springfield Hill Cemetery.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dave Spencer, Tim Landis, Gary VanMeter, Bob Stinnette, Chad VanMeter and Brock VanMeter.
