Jeffrey's Story

BETHEL PARK Jeffrey S. Craze of Bethel Park, formerly of Cumberland, went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, April 22, 2017, at his home.
He was the son of William Roger and Joann Smith Craze. Born in Cumberland, he was a 1978 graduate of Fort Hill High School. He played baseball for Fort Hill and many other leagues and also served in the Umpire Assn. While in Cumberland, Jeff worked at Sacred Heart Hospital for several years. Moving to Pittsburgh, he worked for Jefferson Hospital, Pittsburgh. He later worked road construction as a pavement sawer.
He is survived by his wife, Marlene for 26 years; 2 sons, Jeffrey and wife, Tiffany Charlestown W.Va., Shane of Bethel Park; three daughters, Stephanie Freeman husband, Keith, Jane Lew, W.Va., Bethany and Brianna Craze, Bethel Park; one sister, Sherri Thiele husband, Bob, Bethel Park; grandchildren, Christian Freeman, Tessa and Alyssa Freeman, Connor and Carson Craze, Cameron who he was waiting to meet. Several nieces & nephews. A close niece, Madison Thiele.
Jeff was a very caring person who loved his family. He would do anything he could to help anyone out. Our hearts are broken losing him, but our hope is to see him in Glory. We loved him so much. Jeff was a member of Grace UMC in Cumberland & attended Windover Hills UMC in Pittsburgh. Jeff's wish was to be cremated.
