Jeffrey A. Kuhn, 51, of Mount Storm, died Thursday, Oct. 26, 2017, at his home.
Born on April 19, 1966, at Petersburg, W.Va., he was a son of the late Roscoe and Maxine (Taylor) Kuhn.
Jeff was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved the outdoors. Some said he could catch a fish in a mud hole. He was a kind soul who would help anyone in need. He will be dearly missed.
He was employed by Laborers Union Local 984, out of Clarksburg, and was with Independence Excavating, also in Clarksburg.
Surviving are four brothers, Kermit Kuhn and wife, Donna, of Gatesville, Texas, Terry "Pete" Kuhn and wife, Effie, of Hambleton, W.Va., David Kuhn and wife, Gladys, of Richmond, Va., and Robert Kuhn of Mount Storm; eight sisters, Jean Kuhn of Mount Storm, Donna Shaffer of Oakland, Md., Marcia Hill and husband, Ed, of Marlinton, W.Va., Beverly McRobie of Mount Storm, Linda Dean and husband, Mike, of Canton, Ohio, Emma Rhea and husband, Wayne, of Petersburg, Margaret Rush and husband, Lonnie, of Oakland, and Melissa Carr and husband, Robert, of Mount Storm. He also leaves behind extended aunts and uncles and more than 85 nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be conducted on Saturday, Nov. 4, 2017, at 1 p.m. at Calvary Temple, Mount Storm, with the Rev. Gloria Georg and the Rev. Clifford Schell officiating.
Interment will be private at a later date.
Smith Funeral Home and Crematory, Keyser, W.Va., is in charge of arrangements.
