John "Mickey" Davis, 80, passed away on Saturday Nov. 11, 2017, peacefully at home surrounded by his loved ones. Born March 25, 1937, he was son of the late Harold Davis and Agnes (Manley) Davis.
Mickey graduated from Beall High School, Frostburg, Md., in 1955. He retired from Safeway Stores in Prince Georges County, Md., and settled in Clearville, where he loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed his retirement years with his wife JoAnn and with friends and family around him.
Mickey is survived by his wife of 58 years and the love of his life, JoAnn (Hadley) Davis; son, Tim and wife Laurie; daughters, Christine, Patricia and husband Chris, Kathy and husband Frank, and Joanna; grandchildren, Charlie, Casey and husband Nick Green, Kaya and husband Jerrid Haskin, Rusty, Jimmy and wife Christina, Christopher, Rickey and wife Celeste, Holly, and Ava; great-grandchildren, Brenna, Teagan, Jerrid, Parsley, Logan, Landan, and Paige; brothers, Bill and Harold Davis; and he will be greatly missed by his faithful dog, Whoopi.
Services are at the convenience of the family.
