MOUNT STORM, W.Va. John Scott Lough, 54, of Union Highway, Mount Storm, died Sunday, May 28, 2017, at Winchester Medical Center, Winchester, Va.
Born July 26, 1962, in Fairmont, he was a son of the late Philip Hale Lough and Carolyn Lee (Schuman) Lough Comer. In addition to his parents he was also preceded in death by a son, Phillip Lough; and a brother, Donnie Lough.
John was a Desert Storm U.S. Army Veteran and formerly employed at Arch Coal Company and Head Water Plant Service of Mount Storm. He was also a member of Locust Grove Church of the Brethren.
He is survived by his wife, Tonya Rena (Evans) Lough; and two sons, Dalton L. Lough and Hunter C. Lough; two brothers, Alan Lough and Danny Lough of Ohio; and a sister, Phyllis Williams of Ohio. He was also survived by his mother and father-in-law, Lee and Patty Evans of Elk Garden; brother-in-law, Scott Evans and wife, Alisha Evan of Mount Storm, and his niece and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Locust Grove Church of the Brethren, Mount Storm, on Friday June 2, 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m.
Funeral services will follow visitation at 6 p.m. with the Reverend John Walker officiating.
