Judy C. Ravenscroft, 52, of Berryville, died Wednesday, Nov.15, 2017, at INOVA Fairfax Hospital, Fairfax.
Mrs. Ravenscroft was born Sept. 25, 1965, in Keyser, W.Va., daughter of Raymond Hampton Parrill and Charlene Kimble Parrill.
After graduating in 1983 from Keyser High School, she attended West Virginia University and graduated Suma Cum Laude with honors, earning a degree of Bachelor's of Science in Nursing. Judy was also a member of the Golden Key National Honors Society.
She was a registered nurse working at Prince William Medical Center in Manassas.
Judy was a member at both Duncan Memorial United Methodist in Berryville, and Grace United Methodist Church in Keyser, W.Va.
An avid WVU fan, Judy brought passion to everything, but nothing came before family as they were her whole world.
She married David Curtis Ravenscroft on May 30, 1987.
Surviving with her husband are a son, William Ravenscroft; and daughter, Hannah Ravenscroft, all of Berryville; beloved cats, Owen and Kitty; best friend, Michelle Bosley-Nesslerodt; brother, Raymond Chip Parrill and his wife, Kathy, of Keyser, W.Va.; brother-in-law, Gregory Ravenscroft of Cross Junction; mother and father-in-law, William R. and Donna Ravenscroft of Lakeland, Fla.; nephews, Joshua Parrill of Keyser, W.Va., Joseph Parrill of Petersburg, W.Va., and Jason Ravenscroft of Cross Junction; niece, Madison Ravenscroft of Cross Junction; and a great-niece and nephew, Raymond and Rose Parrill.
A nephew, James Parrill; and grandparents, Ersel and Ruth Kimble and John and Fern Parrill, all preceded her in death.
The family will receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 18, 2017, at Enders & Shirley Funeral Home Chapel, Berryville, with a memorial service following at 6 p.m.
The family will also receive friends from 4 to 6 p.m., Sunday, Nov. 19, 2017, at Grace United Methodist Church, Keyser, W.Va., with a memorial service following at 6 p.m., with Pastor Lauren Godwin officiating. Burial will be private.
