Lillian's Story

Lillian Kuhlman Gellner went to be with her Heavenly Father on Aug. 24, 2017, after a brief battle with cancer.
Lillian was born March 3, 1940, in Cumberland, the daughter of William Lawrence Kuhlman and Ursula Lillian Kuhlman. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Fredrick Henry Gellner; her brother, Larry Kuhlman; and special friend, Lewis Johnson.
Lillian enjoyed putting a smile on everyone's face with her humor and generosity. She spread her joy one Christmas ornament and jar of jam at a time. She graduated from the Ursuline Academy and was a long time employee of Colonial Realty. Lillian was a member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church and Beta Sigma Phi.
She is survived by her sister, Joanie and husband, John Whitman; her son, Greg Gellner; her daughter, Lisa and husband, Jeff Kopp; her grandchildren, Autumn Bishop, Allison DeVore, Jeremy Kopp, Joshua Kopp, Ryan Crawford, Tyler Kopp, and Dianna Gellner; and her 13 great-grandchildren.
In celebration of her life, the family will receive visitors on Monday, Aug. 28, 2017, at 10 a.m. followed by a funeral Mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church, 1000 Andrews Road, Fayetteville, NC 28311.
