Linda Carol Rosskamp, 68, of McMullen Highway, Rawlings, died Monday, May 8, 2017, at the Frostburg Nursing and Rehab Center, Frostburg.
Born on Dec. 28, 1948, in Fulton County, Ind., she was a daughter of the late Albert Donald Fazenbaker Sr. and Naomi Pearl (Roy) Fazenbaker. She also was preceded in death by her husband, George R. Rosskamp on Dec. 22, 2007; a son, George R. Rosskamp Jr.; and a brother-in-law, Kipp Ellifritz.
Mrs. Rosskamp was a 1967 graduate of Bruce High School and was formerly employed in management with several local retail businesses. Through her work over the years, she met numerous people, many that she established long lasting friendships with. She was a devoted mother and grandmother and her family was very important to her. She formerly attended the Danville Community Baptist Church where she served as a Sunday school teacher. She also was an active member of the High Rock Rod and Gun Club and enjoyed playing bingo.
Surviving are her two children, Richard Royce Rosskamp and wife, Tara, of Short Gap, W.Va., and Katrina Ann Rosskamp of Rawlings; a brother, Albert Donald Fazenbaker Jr. of Keyser, W.Va.; two sisters, Donna Lou Ellifritz and Christine Lynn Spurling and husband, Mike, all of Keyser; and five grandchildren, Skilyn, Emily and Cole Rosskamp, Hunter and Benjamin Beeman and Lauren Taylor Biser.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, May 12, 2017, from 10 a.m. to noon.
Funeral services will be conducted immediately following the visitation at noon.
Interment will be in the Restlawn Memorial Gardens, LaVale.
