INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. Luke Allen Hale, 54, of Indianapolis, left this world knowing that the Beatles is the greatest band ever and that Paul McCartney deserves the same respect as Mozart. After all, any living legend that helps you propose to your girlfriend, has to be the best. A long confirmed bachelor, Luke changed his mind quickly, (well it took 12 years, but who's counting?), when, Michaela, the love of his life chased him until he caught her.
Luke was the son of the late Robert and Willa Hale.
He leaves behind his loving and devoted wife, Michaela (Linn) of Frostburg, and Indianapolis; sister, Vicky Sue Lauber, and husband, Dan, Osgood, Ind.; father-in-law, who he called "Dad," David M. Linn Sr., Frostburg; brother-in-law, David M. Linn Jr. and wife Cindy, Portage, Mich.; nephew David M. Linn III, Lockport, N.Y.; niece, Kelsey Linn, Scottsdale, Ariz.; his extended Linn family; the loving Hurst family including his beloved Aunt Marty and Beryl and his fun loving cousins, who were a constant source of support, humor, and love throughout his life.
A Celebration of Luke's life will be held Monday, March 19, 2018, at 11 a.m. at Little & Sons Funeral Home-Indianapolis, 4901 E. Stop 11 Rd., Indianapolis, IN 46237.
A memorial visitation will be held Sunday, March 18, from 4 until 9 PM at the funeral home.
A celebration of life will also occur in Frostburg on a date TBD.
In lieu of flowers, the family ask that donations be made to the following: The Sarcoma Foundation of America, 9899 Main Street, Suite 204, Damascus, MD 20872, curesarcoma.org; or Mountain Ridge High School Historical Research Methods, 100 Dr. Grasmick Lane, Frostburg, MD 21532
