He was born Nov. 6, 1952, in Cumberland.
Marshall was predeceased by his parents, Clarence "Sandy" and Ruth Sandene.
He is survived by his love of 37 years, Dottie Gilpin; her daughter, Danielle Brown (Ed); his brother, Duane Sandene (Pam); and extended family.
Marshall grew up in Frostburg, where he played base guitar with different bands in his younger years. He also was the audio engineer for many bands. He sure did love music.

Marshall was an extraordinary man; those that were fortunate enough to know him saw this. He will be greatly missed.
Celebration of life will be announced at a later date.
