Marvin Dale Sisler, 76, of Friendsville died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at Dennett Road Manor Nursing Home, Oakland.
Born Jan. 31, 1941, in Friendsville, he was the son of the late Clarence and Marie (Humberson) Sisler. He was also preceded in death by one daughter, Julie Sisler.
Mr. Sisler was a service manager for Bill's Marine Service. He was a member of Laurel Run Church of God, the National Rifle Association, and Whitetails Unlimited.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Sue (Uphold) Sisler; two sons, Steven (Christine) Sisler, Oakland, and Larry (Rhonda) Sisler, Friendsville; two daughters, Scindra (Steven) Kolecki, Pickerington, Ohio, and Tracy (Mark) Appleby, Friendsville; three brothers, Carroll Sisler, Oakland, Billy Sisler, Swanton, and Kenny Sisler, McHenry; one sister, Shelby Diehl, Grantsville; 12 grandchildren, Arlinda, Daniel, Andrew, Amanda, Patrick, Abbi, Maddi, Linzi, Taylor, Kyliana, Laci and Ariel; and three great-grandchildren, Samara, Diesel and Cash.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Avenue, Friendsville, on Friday, Dec. 8, 2014, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Craig Bolyard officiating.
Interment will be in Blooming Rose Cemetery.
