Mary Ann Frankenberry, 76, of Mount Savage, passed away Friday, June 8, 2018 at Frostburg Village Nursing Home.
Born Aug. 30, 1941 in Cumberland, Mrs. Frankenberry was the daughter of the late Edward Madden and Alverta (Stuby) Madden. She was also preceded in death by a brother, Edward "JR" Madden; a brother-in-law, Cliff Clites; and a good friend who was like a son, Lonnie Geary.
Mary Ann was a former employee of Crystal Laundry, Wolf's Furniture, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and Super Shoes. She was a member of Mt. Savage United Methodist Church and enjoyed crocheting, arranging flowers, spending time with her grandchildren, and the long motorcycle rides with her husband and friends.
Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 55 years, Joseph Frankenberry; and her son, Joseph Frankenberry and wife, Stacey, Mount Savage; she also leaves behind her sisters, Peggy Clites, Lois Kriegline and husband, Bobby, and Eileen Jamison and husband, Bill; a very special brother-in-law, Walter "Joe" Rank and wife, Judy; very special friends, Judy Robison and Gloria Geary; her grandchildren, Kate Green, Samantha Crosten, Tim Everly, Kylee Frankenberry, Cassie Beth Frankenberry, Billy, Marcia, Brent Jr., and Brandy; as well as six great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
The family would like to thank the staff at Frostburg Village Nursing and all the family and friends who came to see Mary Ann during her final days.
