Mary Adeline Horn, 93, of LaVale, died Monday, Nov. 13, 2017, at Frostburg Village Nursing Home.
Born Aug. 10, 1924, in Tunnelton, W.Va., Mrs. Horn was the daughter of the late Wilbert Clarence Wiles and Nora Anise (Shaver) Wiles. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Robert Lee Horn; a son, Terry A. Horn; and was the last surviving member of her immediate family.
Mary retired from King's Department Store. After retirement, she became a homemaker. Mary was one of the founding members of LaVale United Methodist Church and a member of LaVale United Methodist Women. She was also a member of LaVale Lionettes and Winchester Mixed Bowling League.
Mary is survived by her sons, Richard "Dick" L. Horn and wife, Paula, Fort Ashby, W.Va., and David Horn, LaVale, and her daughter-in-law, Sally Horn, LaVale; her grandchildren, Lori Stark and husband, Eric, Leslie White and husband, Darren, Sarah Horn, Chelsea Carr, and Terri Hohstadt; and her great-grandchildren, Mackenzie, Daniel, and Markos Stark, and Abby and Gracie White.
Friends will be received at Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur St., Cumberland (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com), on Thursday, Nov. 16, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted at LaVale United Methodist Church on Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. with the Rev. Frankie Revell officiating. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to services.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens.
