Patricia "Pat"'s Story
Patricia "Pat" Mae Wolford, of Romney, died peacefully on Monday, Feb. 5, 2018 in Romney, at the age of 74, at her home surrounded by her family and friends while under the care of Hospice of the Panhandle.
Pat is survived by her husband, Harry Joe Wolford of Romney; her four children, Harry Joe Wolford Jr. and his wife Susan, Randall S. Wolford, Mark D. Wolford, Tricia (Wolford) Fluharty and her husband Robert; eight grandchildren, Nathan Wolford, Logan Wolford, Kendra Wolford, Alexander Fluharty, Lauren Fluharty, Tyler Fluharty, Haley Fluharty and RandiJo Wolford; two sisters, Nancy Feller and husband Homer, and Laura Mayle and husband Donald; and one brother, Gary Clower and wife Marguerite; nieces and nephews and the rest of her family and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charles H. Clower and Martha E. (Mayhew) Clower; three brothers Andrew Clower, Thomas Clower and Leonard Clower.
Pat was born in Moorefield, W.Va. on May 27, 1943. She was married to Harry Joe Wolford on Dec. 10, 1960 and was married for 57 years.
Visitations will be held Friday, Feb. 9, 2018 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at McKee Funeral Home in Augusta, W.Va. The funeral is scheduled for 1p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 10, 2018 at McKee Funeral Home Chapel with graveside service at Ebenezer Cemetery in Romney. A reception to follow at Little Capon Baptist Church. Pastor Denzel Davis and Pastor Tony Baker will officiate the ceremony. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Pat's life.
