WINCHESTER, Va. Pauline Grace Pratt, age 89 formerly of Moorefield, W.Va., passed away Wednesday morning, Nov. 15, 2017, at Green Valley Assisted Living in Winchester.
Born on Dec. 12, 1927, near Needmore, W.Va., she was a daughter of the late Willam H. Combs and Orleana Wilson Combs.
Pauline married Claggett E. Pratt of Old Fields, W.Va., in 1948 and was married over 49 years and raised four children. Claggett preceded Pauline in death in December 1997. She was also preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters. Pauline worked over 25 years for Boise Cascade and American Woodmark cabinets located in Moorefield.
Pauline is survived by two sons, Delmas & wife, Donna of Stephens City, and David & wife, Dawn of Broadway; two daughters, Sandra Crites & husband, Ronnie of Moorefield, and Alma Lyon and husband, Bill of Lahmansville, W.Va.; eight grandchildren, Debbie Crites Hilliard, Eric Pratt, Jennifer Lyon Hardy, Wendy Crites Branson, Jamie Pratt Ratliff, Michael Lyon, David Pratt Jr. and Katie Spitzer; 10 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mable Combs George & family of Petersburg, W.Va.; a brother, Roy Vernon Combs & family of Bunker Hill, W.Va., plus numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Nov. 17, 2017, at the Fraley Funeral Home Chapel, 107 Washington St. with Pastor Rick Bergdoll officiating.
Interment will follow at the Olivet Cemetery. The family will receive friends from noon until time of services at 2 p.m. at the funeral home.
