CUMBERLAND Pearl Leona (Fansler) Leasure, 103, of Cumberland, died Tuesday, June 6, 2017, at The Lions Center.
Born April 14, 1914, in Elkins, W,Va., she was the daughter of the late Ernest and Icie (Isner) Fansler.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, William Henry Leasure; one son, Franklin Leasure; and siblings, Boyd Fansler, Cleo Johnson, Clarence Fansler, Gilbert Fansler, Elsie Hornick, Jessie Hornick, Marie Evans, Stella Sheets, and Irene Snyder.
Mrs. Leasure had been a factory worker for General Electric in Columbia.
Survivors include her children, Nancy Van Sickle, Port Orange, Fla., James Leasure, Bracey, Va., Raymond Leasure, Blairsville, Ga., Robert Leasure, Johnston Co., N.C., Ronald Leasure, Apex, N.C., and Ralph Leasure, Bracey; two sisters, Catherine Carner, Daytona Beach, Fla. and Beatrice D'Angelo, S.C.; 13 grandchildren, and several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation at Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Thursday, June 8, 2017, from 5 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, June 9, 2017, at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, with the Rev. B. A. D'Angelo.
Interment will be in Mt. Herman Cemetery.
