Raymond "Bud"'s Story
Raymond "Bud" Edward Sirbaugh Jr., 69, of Oldtown, died Sunday, Nov. 5, 2017, at his home, surrounded by his family.
Born June 9, 1948, in Cumberland, Mr. Sirbaugh was the son of the late Raymond Edward Sirbaugh Sr. and Rose Anna (Ullery) Sirbaugh. He was also preceded in death by a sister, Caron (Sirbaugh) Hott; and a brother-in-law, Russell Day.
Ray retired from Eby's Sawmill. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, and coon hunter. Ray loved his family.
Ray is survived by his daughters, Bonnie Fann and husband, Brian, Amanda True and husband, Jonathan, and Laura Kyle and husband, Daniel; and his sons, Bradley Hiett, Raymond Sirbaugh III, and Jamie Sirbaugh. He also leaves behind his grandchildren, Hunter, Dustin, Breanna, Taylor, Abigail, Daniel Jr., and Cassidy. Ray is also survived by his brother, Roger Sirbaugh and wife, Vicki; his sisters, Diana Day, and Robin Inskeep and husband, Howard; and his forever love, Janet Layton; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Services will be private.
The family would like to give a special thank you to Home Hospice Team and to Brandy Clark for all the care and compassion given to Ray.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
