MELBOURNE, Fla. Richard Robert (Bob) Holshey passed away Saturday, June 10, 2017, at Holmes Regional Hospital Heart Center in Melbourne.
He was 78. Bob was born on Aug. 28, 1938, to the late John Holshey and Gertrude (Davies) Holshey.
After graduating from Fort Hill High School in 1956, Bob proudly served two years in the U.S. Navy. He retired in 1997 as a warehouseman at Kelly Springfield Tire Company in Cumberland.
Surviving Bob are his wife of 57 years, Shirley (Auvil) Holshey; and three sons, John (Cricket), Ron (Pam), and Ray (Debbie) Holshey. He is also survived by six grandsons, Logan, Nolan, Briggs, Tanner, Austin and Zach Holshey, and granddaughter, Taylor Holshey. Also surviving are sister, Joyce White and brother-in-law, James (Gene) Auvil, in addition to numerous nieces and nephews, and a special kitty, Tiki.
Per his wishes, he will be cremated.
