Robert "Bobby"'s Story
FORT ASHBY, W.Va. Robert "Bobby" Paul Twigg Jr., 40, of Fort Ashby, died Saturday, Feb. 17, 2018, at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born July 10, 1977, in Cumberland, he is the son of Robert Paul Twigg Sr. and Deborah Ann (O'Brien) Twigg.
Bobby was a graduate of Hampshire High School.
He had served an enlistment in the U.S. Army.
He worked at O'Sullivan's, Winchester, Va., as a multicraft technician.
Bobby loved motorcycles and belonged to the Warlock Motorcycle Club of Antioch. He liked to be outside, whether it be hunting or down at the river. More recently, he was developing his skills as a blacksmith.
In addition to his parents, Bobby is survived by his wife, Donna; three children, Keyonia Nichole, Jayda Lynn, and Raiden Patrick; his mother-in-law, Deborah Page and husband, Bob; his father-in-law, Danny Kisner and wife, Neila; two sisters, Stephanie Brinker and husband, Matt, and Mary Beth Shanholtz and husband, Tyler; and, his maternal grandmother, Barbara O'Brien.
Bobby was preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Lawrence O'Brien, and his paternal grandparents, Roy S. Twigg Sr. and Mary C. Twigg.
Friends will be received at the Upchurch Funeral Home, Inc., Route 28, Fort Ashby, on Thursday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
The funeral service will be held on Friday at 1 p.m. in the funeral home, with Pastor Joey Alkire, officiating.
Military honors will be accorded by Fort Cumberland Post 13, Veterans Honor Guard.
