LONACONING Robert Lee (Hutch) Hutcheson, 76, 84 Douglas Ave., Lonaconing, passed away Wednesday, Aug. 16, 2017, at Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born Feb. 2, 1941, in Baltimore. He was the son of James Hutcheson and Mary (Gould) Hutcheson.
He was preceded in death by his sisters, Ruth Likens and Esther Deshong; and brother, Kenny, William, Charlie and Paul Hutcheson. He was the last of his immediate family.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Judy (Green) Peggy Hutcheson; a daughter, Connie Sue Hutcheson; a son, James William Hutheson; two grandsons, Charles Robert Herath and Clifford Ray Herath; and several nieces and nephews.
He was a member of the Frostburg Kindom Hall. Bob was a veteran of the Air Force and employed with Celanese and retired from the Town of Lonaconing. Hutch loved to hunt, fish and trap and enjoyed working in the yard and planting a garden.
The family would like to thank the many healthcare workers from WMHS and the VA home healthcare girls. Also for the special care all the nurses, doctors, aids and housekeepers gave to Bob while he was in the hospital.
There will be no service.
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Goodwill Fire Dept. Lonaconing or the George's Creek Rescue Squad.
