Rosemary Bittinger

Rosemary "Rose" or "Granny" Bittinger, 67, of Rawlings, died Sunday, Sept. 9, 2018 at the Western Maryland Regional Medical Center.
Born on April 27, 1951 at Keyser, W.Va., she was a daughter of Mary Catherine (Robertson) Sowers of Rawlings and the late Wade Sowers.
Mrs. Bittinger was a 1969 graduate of Bruce High School and received her AA Degree from Allegany Community College. She loved going to the river and attending family gatherings.
Surviving, in addition to her mother is her companion of 25 years, Joseph "Joe" Ferrebee; her children, Brenda Broadwater of Barton, James "Jimmy" O'Haver and wife Rhonda of Rawlings, and Ronnie "Pete" Bittinger, Jr. and wife Sarah of Romney; one sister, Tammy Files and husband Ronnie of Romney; 13 grandchildren, Jessica, Wade, Hunter, Betty, Lucrecia, Jeremy, Whitney, Kaitlyn, Alexis, Justin, Hailee, Wesley and Isabella; and six great-grandchildren, Josiah, Mathew, Myah, Damien, Darius and Izabel.
Friends may call at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Friday, Sept.14, 2018 from 2 to 4 & 6 to 8 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday, Sept.15, 2018 at 11 a.m. with Pastor Samuel Biser officiating.
Interment will be in the Thrush-Hott Cemetery, Burlington, W.Va.
