Sharon A. Maynard went to be with her Lord on Saturday, June 8, 2019. "Sherry" was the proud and loving wife of Ralph W. Maynard for 56 years. Together, they had three children, Renee A. Maynard-LaRue of Friendsville, Michele M. Young and husband Joey of Altha, Fla., Stephen W. Maynard and wife Cathy of Rawlings.
Sherry was a proud and loving grandmother, known as Nan, to Joel "Eric" LaRue, Jr. of Frostburg, MD, Kelli Alday and husband Anthony of Markleysburg, PA, Anthony Young of Altha, FL, and Marine Corps, Corporal Aaron Young, California. She was also a dearly loved great- grandmother to Hailey Brown, Haiden Brown and Abigail Alday.
She was born March 16, 1947 and preceded in death by her parents MaryJohn (Thompson) Davis and William P. Davis. She was also preceded in death by her eldest brother, Billy Davis who we lost to leukemia. She is survived by her brothers and sisters, Terry Davis and wife, Kay of Alexandria, Va., Phil Davis and wife, Kitty of Frostburg, MaryJohn (Davis)-Miles of Barton, Monica Johnston of New Creek, W.Va., John T. Davis (Tim) of Midland, Sue (Davis) Morris of Westernport, MaryJo McConnell of Hudson, Fla. Also survived by her very special brother and sister in law, Raymond and Peggy Maynard of Keyser, W.V. Sherry had many loved nieces, nephews and cousins who will miss her dearly.
Sherry and Ralph, also the proud and loving parents of their two small dogs, Ginger and Coco. They loved her to no end and miss her dearly.
Sherry had a special talent for cooking and baking for her family and friends, which she enjoyed. She also loved her visiting Hummingbirds, gardening, and had that special touch for flowers and plants.
A memorial service will be held Saturday, June 15, 2019 from 11a.m. to 12 p.m., at St. Peter Catholic Church, 127 Church Street, Westernport, MD, USA.
A reception will be held from 12:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. on 2019-06-15 at St. Peter, 127 Church Street, Westernport, MD, USA.

I never met your mom but I know she raised a good hearted, sweet, intelligent, and out going woman. I can only imagine what a wonderful person she was ... my prayers will be with you through this difficult time in Hope's that you will find some comfort in her peace. Love you and Joey stay strong and lean on each other in your time of need ....
