FROSTBURG Terrence Lyn Grumbine, son of the late Aubrey and Elizabeth Grumbine gained his angel wings on the morning of Tuesday, June 13, 2017, in Frostburg.
Terry was preceded in death by a daughter, Terri Brumage; granddaughter, Heather Brumage; and stepmother, Doris Logan Grumbine.
Terry was born on Nov. 25, 1942, in Hagerstown. Terry was a member of the Trinity Assembly of God Church and a member of the NRA. He graduated from South Hagerstown High School in 1960. He was retired from the State of Maryland Department of Juvenile Services.
Terry is survived by his loving wife, Mary Louise Bennett Grumbine; daughter Linda Wilhelm and husband, David of Frostburg; son-in-law, Ernie Brumage and wife, Marsha of Elkton; grandson, Christopher Brumage and wife, Stacy of Lincoln University, Pa.; granddaughter, Kristie Bloskey and husband, Danny of Frostburg; great-grandsons, Blaine Brumage and Owen Bloskey; great-granddaughters, Jozelyn Bloskey and Audrey Brumage. He is also survived by sister, Cindy Friedman and husband, Tom of Frederick; brother, Christopher Grumbine and wife, Karen of Hagerstown; step brothers, Bob Logan and wife, Sue of Massachusetts and Terry Logan and wife, Martha of Winchester, Va.; and several nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at Durst Funeral Home, 57 Frost Ave., Frostburg, on Friday, June 16, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be held at Trinity Assembly of God on Saturday, June 17, 2017, at 11 a.m. with Pastor Rob Culler officiating.
Interment will follow in Frostburg Memorial Park.
Pallbearers will be sons-in-law, Ernie Brumage and David Wilhelm, grandsons, Christopher Brumage and Danny Bloskey, and nephews, Brad Friedman and Kirk Friedman.
