Theodore "Ted" R. Fulton

Theodore   Ted R. Fulton Theodore "Ted" R. Fulton, 88, of Cumberland, died Friday, Feb. 8, 2019, at Sterling Care of Frostburg Village Assisted Living.
Born March 17, 1930, in Natrona Heights, Pa., he was the son of the late Clarence Edward Fulton and Minnie (Wilmurt) Fulton.
He was also preceded in death by his wife, Jean (Hood) Fulton, and his sister, Ruth Danner.
Mr. Fulton graduated from the University of Pittsburgh, where he majored in accounting.
He was a U.S. Navy veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Fulton retired as accounts receivable manager of Kelly-Springfield Tire Company.
He belonged to First Presbyterian Church, Cumberland.
Survivors include his four children, Timothy E. Fulton, Reno, Nev., Susan (Fulton) Nelis and husband, Arthur, North Huntingdon, Pa., Linda (Fulton) Blair and husband, Wray, Frostburg, and Wendy (Fulton) Hinkle and husband, Greg, Colorado Springs, Col.; grandchildren, Brittany Nelis, Shane Nelis, Lauren (Fulton) Potts, Lindsay Fulton, Timothy Blair, and Daniel Blair; great-grandson, Cooper Nash Potts; special sister-in-law, Marilyn Bohn; and several nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at Upchurch Funeral Home, P.A., 202 Greene St., Cumberland, on Tuesday, Feb. 12, 2019, from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted Wednesday, Feb. 13, at 11 a.m. in the funeral home with Pastor Bruce McBride officiating.
Interment will be in Restlawn Memorial Gardens, where military honors will be accorded by Fort Cumberland Post 13 Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to Sterling Care of Frostburg Village Assisted Living, 1 Kaylor Circle, Frostburg, MD 21532.
The family thanks the staff of Sterling Care of Frostburg Village Assisted Living for the kind, compassionate care given to our father and grandfather.
