MANSFIELD, Texas Theresa "Terri" Beal Clem of Mansfield, and formerly of Keyser, W.Va., died Monday, July 17, 2017, surrounded by family.
Terri was the daughter of Francis Joseph and Louise Elizabeth Beal who preceded her in death. She was also preceded by her husband of 53 years, Donald L. Clem; sisters, Frances "Cookie" Beal Sharp and Mary Ann Beal Ganton. Son-in-laws, Andrew Richard and Douglas Fries also preceded her.
Terri was a homemaker whose priority was always family. She had a wonderful sense of design and created beautiful, warm and inviting homes. Terri was an avid reader, she enjoyed cooking new recipes as well as old family favorites. She was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt, and friend. Terri will be missed tremendously, but we are grateful she is now free of pain and at peace.
Terri is survived by daughters, Carla Clem Richard of Valencia, Calif., Tami Clem Allen and husband, Lonnie of Mansfield; sons, Jeffery Donald Clem and wife, Mihyang of St. Charles, Mo., and Brian Beal Clem and wife, Mary Helen of San Antonio, Texas. Her grandchildren, Jason Catanzarite and wife, Julie of Saugus, Calif., Meredith Simone of Lewisville, Texas, Brandon Clem and wife, Nikki, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Cody Clem of St. Charles, Mo. Great-grandchildren, Sofia and Jackson Catanzarite, and baby girl Catanzarite due in September. Brother Edward Beal and wife, Mary of San Gabriel, Calif.; and sister, Billie Shoemaker Walta and husband, Lou, of Eau Claire, Wis. Terri is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews, and her nine grandpuppies, and six great-grandpuppies.
Per her request, there will be no service, burial will be private and held at a future date. Terri will be laid to rest at Potomac Memorial Gardens in Keyser.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Terri's honor can be made to the American Diabetes Association 4100 Alpha Road, Suite 100, Dallas, TX 75244. Because Terri loved dogs, especially her grandpuppies, she supported local rescues, a donation to your local dog rescue would sincerely be appreciated.
