Virginia Darlene Streets, 76, of Keyser, W.Va., died Friday, Feb. 23, 2018, at Piney Valley Nursing Home, where she has been a resident since 1994.
Born on Aug. 6, 1941, in Swanton, she was a daughter of the late Gilbert Harrison and Naomi Louise (Barnard) Warnick.
Mrs. Streets was a member of Dawson United Methodist Church. She was a member of Red Hat Ladies Society at Piney Valley and loved attending church services and playing bingo at the nursing home. She also was an avid Scrabble player and enjoyed word finds.
Surviving are one son, Dennis E. Streets of Martinsburg, W.Va.; a sister, Bettie L. Sherwood of Keyser; a brother, Gilbert A. Warnick and wife, Jessica of Frederick; three grandchildren, Ryan E. Streets of Martinsburg, Christine E. DiNicola of Simpsonville, S.C., and Kimberly D. Polinik of Lewisburg, W.Va.; three great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews that helped to care for her, Krista Champ, Barbara Hartman and Glenn Sherwood.
Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, from 6 to 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted at the funeral home on Thursday, March 1, 2018, at 2 p.m. with Pastor Randy Crowe officiating.
Interment will be in Barnard Cemetery, Swanton.
