Wayne B. Miller Sr., 82, of Keyser, died Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser.
Born on May 24, 1935, in Keyser, he was a son of the late Guy Ernest and Myrtle Maude (Lyons) Miller. He also was preceded in death by a sister, Annabelle Combs, and three brothers, Ernest, Estin and Delbert Miller.
Mr. Miller was formerly employed with Westvaco Luke Mill for 15 years, the former Chattanooga Glass Company in Keyser for 18 years, and was a self-employed farmer. A U.S. Navy veteran, he was Protestant by faith and was also a member of Davis Lodge 51, A.F. & A.M., Keyser, and Scottish Rite Bodies of Wheeling, W.Va.
Surviving are his wife of 63 years, Ruth V. (Shrout) Miller; his children, Cynthia L. Fazzalore and husband, Larry of Keyser, Sandra R. Rounds and husband, JR of Martinsburg, W.Va., Wayne B. Miller Jr. and wife, Paige of Keyser, Tina M. Goldizen and husband, Bryan of Culpeper, Va., Ernie Miller and wife, Kimberly of Keyser and Shannon Doman and husband, Matt of Keyser; and one brother, Curtis Miller and wife, Joann of Burlington, W.Va. Also surviving are 13 grandchildren, Mandy Robinson, Marla Slaubaugh, Misty Guthrie, Tyler Rounds, Trey Rounds, Brittney Harrison, Briana Whetzel, Shanea Kerns, Shalynn Reza, Andrew Miller, Alec Miller, Taylor Fraley and Gracie Doman; 12 great-grandchildren; and a large number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call at Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Saturday, Dec. 9, 2017, from 4 to 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted at Smith Funeral Home, Keyser Chapel, on Sunday, Dec. 10, 2017, at 2 p.m. with Melissa Riley officiating.
Interment will be in Potomac Memorial Gardens, Keyser.
