Wendy Beth (Chase) Miller, 49, of Frostburg went to be with her Lord Jesus Christ on Saturday, Feb. 3, 2018, at home.
Born March 19, 1968, in Bethesda, she was the daughter of Thomann Wilson and the late R. Thomas Chase. She is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Richard F. Chase and Doris M. Chase, and maternal grandparents, Thomas M. Wilson and Mary Margaret Wilson.
Wendy attended the Second Baptist Church in Keyser. She held a master's degree in nursing and was a nursing instructor at Allegany College of Maryland. She also worked at the Golden Living Center in the geriatric nursing department. Wendy was noted for her beautiful voice. She was the most beautiful woman inside and out and loved everybody and everybody loved her. Wendy had a strong faith in God and spoke to Him daily.
Wendy is survived by her loving husband and best friend, Gregory Miller; mother, Thomann Wilson of Cumberland; stepchildren, Jesse Miller and wife, Amanda of Virginia, Christopher Miller and wife, Jenna of Frostburg, Cody Miller and special friend, Jess of Frostburg, April Miller of LaVale; step-grandchildren, Kami, Caitlin, Luke, Caleb, Brielle, Wyatt; sister, Raequel Chase of Hagerstown; aunt, Crystal Bachant; niece, Kira Yeakey; and nephews, Aidan George and Tyson Chase.
Friends will be received at Sowers Funeral Home on Tuesday, Feb. 6, 2018, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted on Thursday, Feb. 8, 2018, at Frostburg Church of the Nazarene, 150 Center St., at 1 p.m. with Pastor Sam Biser officiating. Friends will be received at the church one hour prior to services.
Pallbearers will be Gregory Miller, Jesse Miller, Christopher Miller, Cody Miller, Jess Smith, and Creade Brodie.
Interment will be on the family farm.
