Wilbur Gary "Wibby" Lowdermilk, 67, of Friendsville died Saturday, Jan. 6, 2018, at Ruby Memorial Hospital/WVU Hospitals Inc.
Born May 12, 1950, in Uniontown, Pa., he was the son of the late Wilbur Gray and Beulah (Umbel) Lowdermilk.
Mr. Lowdermilk was a self-employed truck driver and also drove for Larry Wagner and R&M Trucking.
He was a member of Asher Glade Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are his wife, Donna Lea (Fike) Lowdermilk; one son, Rodney Lowdermilk (Sherry), Friendsville; one daughter, Renee Williams (Greg), Sterling, Va.; two sisters, Shirley A. Rusnack (Tom), Connellsville, Pa., and Vonda J. Bryner (Bill) Farmington, Pa.; 11 grandchildren, Kiersten, Gerad, Kate, Hannah, Haley, Jacob, Ryleigh, Robert, Alan, Kari, Shaila; and four great-grandchildren, Dominic, Nathan, Lane, and Layla.
Friends will be received at Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2018, from 2 to 8 p.m.
Services will be conducted at Asher Glade Church of the Brethren on Wednesday, Jan. 10, 2018, at 1 p.m. with Pastor Joe Brown officiating. The body will be taken to the church one hour prior to the service. Cremation will follow.
