William "Billy"'s Story

William Fletcher "Billy" Harvey IV, 16, of Cumberland, passed away Sunday, July 9, 2017, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Born Feb. 18, 2001, in Morgantown, W.Va., Billy was the son of William "Bill" Fletcher Harvey III and Michelle Evelena (Glanville) Harvey, Cumberland. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Steven D. Glanville.
Billy was a current student at Fort Hill High School entering into his junior year this fall. He was a football buddy and enjoyed playing Bocce Ball. Billy enjoyed watching "The Wiggles." He loved swimming in his pool, riding the school bus, ketchup, and chocolate milk. Billy also enjoyed tractor rides with his grandma, Gail.
Besides his parents, Billy is survived by his twin sister, Haley Harvey; and his brother, Jameson Harvey, both of Cumberland. He also leaves behind his paternal grandparents, William F. Harvey Jr. and wife, Gail, Cumberland; his maternal grandmother, Boots Glanville, Clearville, Pa.; his aunts, Brandi Brown and husband, Jerimiah, Hartfield, Va.; and Stephanie McCoy and husband, Adam, Flintstone. Billy is also survived by his cousins, Hannah and Patrick McCoy, and Abby and Issak Brown; a special great-aunt, Connie Hauser, Cumberland; his great-grandfather, Ronald Bailey, Cumberland; and a close friend, Josie.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, from 6 to 8 p.m.
A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 12, 2017, at 8 p.m. with Deacon Butch Jenkins officiating.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Billy's name to the Fort Hill High School SLE Program, 500 Greenway Avenue, Cumberland, MD 21502.
