Betty Jo Watts, 49, of Oakland, passed away Thursday, May 25, 2017, at Garrett Memorial Hospital.
Born Sept. 29, 1967, in Providence, R.I., Betty Jo was the daughter of Vernon "Vern" Francis Wallizer and wife, June, Manassas, Va., and the late Mary Catherine (Smith) Twist. She was also preceded in death by her uncle who raised her, Charles Stotler; and her half-brother, Donnie Collins.
A graduate of Flintstone High School, class of 1985, Betty Jo was a homemaker.
She is survived by her daughters, Alyssa Watts and Chelsea Watts; and her twin sister, Billie Jo Ashby, Terra Alta, W.Va. She is also survived by her sisters, Verna Wallizer, Stafford, Va., Danielle Wallizer, Manassas, Cindy Gulbronson and husband, David, Norfolk, Va., and Grace Johnson and husband, Frank, of Louisiana; her brothers, Ronnie Collins, Baltimore, and James Collins, Annapolis; her aunt, who raised her, Helen Stotler; and her stepbrother, Chris Clingerman, Manassas; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Friends will be received at the Adams Family Funeral Home, P.A., 404 Decatur Street, Cumberland, (www.AdamsFamilyFuneralHome.com) on Tuesday, May 30, 2017, from 4 to 6 p.m.
