Dale's Story

FRIENDSVILLE Dale Eugene Frazee, 77, of Friendsville, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Oct. 9, 2017, at his residence.
Born April 16, 1940, in Friendsville, he was the son of the late Hiram and Edith (Teets) Frazee. He was also preceded in death by five brothers, Blaine, Emerson, Paul, Glen and Merle; three sisters, Amy, Opal and Eileen.
He was a member of Asher Glade Church of the Brethren, where he served on the Stewardship and Witness Commission, as well as any other way asked of him. Dale was retired from the Maryland State Department of Transportation.
Dale will be best remembered as a devoted husband and a "good" neighbor to all. Babies loved him as well as the cattle he cared for. He was a farmer at heart and gave his children and grandchildren a love of hard work, the joy of family and the importance of service.
He is survived by his wife, Linda L. (Lipscomb) Frazee; three children, Stephen (Carla) Frazee, Friendsville, Robin (Dale) Parsons, Valencia, Pa., Tracey (Ron) Wise, Chambersburg, Pa.; one brother, Ward (Carol) Frazee, Ft. Ashby, W.Va.; one sister, Linda (Delbert) Sechler, Barberton, Ohio; eight grandchildren, Evan Frazee, Rachel (Frazee) Warnick, Clay Frazee, Caleb Frazee, Rebekah Parsons, Elizabeth Parsons, Abby Parsons and Ashley Wise; as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 943 Second Ave., Friendsville, on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Services will be conducted in the Asher Glade Church of the Brethren at 11 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, 2017, with the Rev. Michael Saturday officiating. Friends may call at the church one hour prior to the services.
Interment will be in the Blooming Rose Cemetery.
