Dorothy "Dottie"'s Story
Dorothy Ann "Dottie" Greene, 83, of Romney, passed away on Tuesday, July 18, 2017, at Dawn View Center.
Born on May 24, 1934, in Springfield, she was the daughter of the late Wilson B. "Murph" Short and Martha Kathleen "Kat" Haines.
She is survived by her husband, David Greene; a son, Robert Greene and wife, Julie, of Romney; three daughters, Robbin Watts, Sherry Lupton and husband, Denny, both of Romney, Cynthia Wagoner and husband, Bob, of Fort Ashby; a brother, Gary Short and wife, Marlene, of Richmond, Va.; six grandchildren, Shandon Watts, Ashley Watts, Amanda Greene, Dana Veach, Rob Wagoner and wife, Jana, Rick Wagoner and wife, Maggie; five great-grandchildren, Branson, Bradley and Dylan Watts, Luke and Harper Wagoner; and one great-grandchild on the way.
She was the manager of Wilson Lanes in Romney.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, July 30, 2017, from 2 to 4 p.m. at the South Branch Inn, Romney.
