BOYNTON, Pa. Dorothy Elaine Lenhart, 85, of Boynton, died Tuesday, Aug. 1, 2017, at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center, Johnstown.
Born Sept. 16, 1931, in Salisbury, she was the daughter of the late Fay and Ressie (Rembold) Livengood. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Belmont "Babe" Lenhart; four sisters, Marie Llewellyn, Pearl Lantz, Clara Lichty and Martha Livengood; two brothers, Guy and Clayton Livengood; two granddaughters, Cindy Friend and Melissa Lenhart.
Mrs. Lenhart was a seamstress for Salisbury Sportswear and enjoyed sewing. After retiring, Dorothy operated a bakery from her home, specializing in bread. She was a member of Meyersdale Church of the Brethren and International Garment Workers Union.
She is survived by one son, Bryan (Linda) Lenhart, Accident; one daughter, Brenda (Jack) Vaughn, Boynton; 10 grandchildren, Bryan Lenhart, Shawna (Brian) Welch, Lori (Michael) Menges, Tiffany Sebold, Chad Sebold, Robert (Jan) Green, Judy Platter, Anna Vaughn, Doug (Joanna) Vaughn and Mitchell (Kim) Vaughn; 20 great-grandchildren, Ashley (Andrew), Adam, Andrew, Alex (Sherri Ann), Erica, Sierra, Austin, Rebecca, Madison, Aaron, Maggie, Andrew, Cedric, Evan and Landon; four great-great grandchildren, Collyn, Mason, Autumn and Caleb.
Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Home, Inc., 9168 Mason-Dixon Hwy., Salisbury, on Wednesday, Aug. 2, 2017, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted in the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, at 3 p.m. with Pastor Dottie Grew, Pastor James Teets and Pastor Mike Swick officiating.
Interment will be in the Springs Cemetery.
