Jackie Sue Rodeheaver, 55, of Harpers Ferry, passed away after a brief illness, at Winchester Medical Center.
Born Oct. 22, 1961, in Cumberland, she was the daughter of the late Lester Potts and Alice Lloyd Potts.
She was of the Baptist faith. She was the payroll manager for North Spring Behavioral Healthcare with almost 20 years of service.
Jackie loved camping and riding the Harley. She enjoyed cooking out at picnics with her family and friends and always taking care of others before herself. She was the stronger willed matriarch and caring example for her family. Her compassion and giving heart will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her loving husband of 37 years, Mark, at home; one daughter, Amanda Edwards and husband, Shane, of Locust Grove, Va.; one son, Mark Joseph Rodeheaver and wife, Melanie, of Harpers Ferry; four grandchildren, Heather, Randi, Ava, and Chase; two sisters, Leslie Harris and Carolyn Hochard; one brother, Mike Potts; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by stepfather, Joe "Poppy" O'Brien; and sister, Katherine "Kitty" Mauck.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Aug. 12, 2017, at Eackles-Spencer & Norton Funeral Home, 256 Halltown Road, Harpers Ferry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Blue Ridge Mountain Volunteer Fire Department, 181 Keyes Gap Road, Harpers Ferry, WV 25425.
